Quorn-Fed Chicken
Quorn-Fed Chicken is the vegetable that is set to revolutionise the way vegetarians eat. Since the chicken is fed solely on Quorn, animal lovers can eat it safe in the knowledge that nothing was harmed to put this tasty morsel on their plate.
How It Works
We feed our chickens entirely on Quorn-based products before they leave their houses in the morning, and on demand throughout the day as they range freely. This quells their natural urge to slaughter for food, leaving the local fauna to go about its business unmolested.
Where Can I Get One
As with any new vegetable, there is currently a long waiting list for Quorn-Fed Chicken. Unlike less enlightened chicken farms, our supply is limited by having to wait for the chickens to die of natural causes. However, we are now introducing alternative breeds of chicken with shorter lifespans. Once they are getting on a bit, we will start taking orders again.
Is It Humane?
In a word, yes. Chickens enjoy the taste of Quorn. Quorn is made from mycoprotein, a fungus which does not feel pain. Slugs, insects and other animals prefer not to be eaten by chickens.
